    It’s a great investment. In fact I have a few I will be happy to sell you! Also, I have acquired exclusive rights to the Brooklyn Bridge, a New York landmark. I will throw that in the deal as well. Let me know.

    Addition: I was making a joke. I think abandoned gold mines are a scam and I don’t have any to sell. Jim L

    Gold mines that are abandoned are abandoned for good reason; all the gold that can be dug at at a cost BELOW the value of that gold has already been dug out.

    If there had been a recent change in mining technology that makes it now potentially profitable to own such properties, companies that already are IN the gold mining business would know about it long before you & I, and would already have bought them.

    So if you see a publicly-accessible advertisement offering such properties, rest-assured it’s just someone trying to sell you a pipe-dream! MarcThyme
