		<description>There are several reason you have been hearing about investing in gold.  One reason is what you mentioned.  It is an inflation protector.  With the Federal Goverment printing money to save the stock market, inflation is on the rise.  The constitution says that all these dollars must be backed by gold (they are not).  That said, when the market makes its big correction gold will rise rapidly.  If I were investing your money, I would wait until the vix hits 39.00 or 40.00.  Then I would hit the market pretty hard with investing long term.  The market probably has another leg or so to go on the downside.</description>
