Titanium is selling really well right now because Jewelcrafters can prospect it. Other than that- You can actually make a lot of gold doing quests. If you just keep leveling to 80, well, all of my 80's had well over 1k gold when they dinged, with most of storm peaks and icecrown left to finish for pure gold. That can help you out a little bit. I can also make ~300 gold a day doing dailies per toon.
