How safe is Face to face gold buying on World of Warcraft?

buying gold
Matt asked:

I want to buy 5000 gold for my epic flying mount. I just don’t have enough time to get gold myself ingame. How safe is face to face gold buying? I know blizzard can track mailbox but what about trading face to face?

I would never recommend buying gold, not just because Blizzard could catch you, but there is no legitamate gold seller, they are all out to get yout account information, and/ or put a keylogger on your computer. It is VERY unsafe.

However I feel your pain when it comes to not having enough gold to buy epic flying. However it should not cost 5k. IF you are honored with warsong, (if you are horde) or valliance expedition if you are alliance, it only costs 4k if you buy from there.

One of the best ways to make gold, if you doont have experience in making gold is to just farm heroics and sell crusader orbs. They go for about 140g on my server. dont worry about it

If you were to buy gold from a reputable seller on a character whose level is high enough to normally carry that amount(70-80), and immediately use it in game, it is usually safer. I have purchased gold more than 10 times over a span of about 3 years and Blizzard has never taken action against my account. I’ve heard that the sellers have a higher risk than buyers, but there is always a risk when using RMT services.

Like others said, the safest way is to earn the gold yourself in-game, but buying 5000 and using it right away is usually pretty safe. Girlgamer

They will see that you were handed 5k by a lvl 1 from a Chinese IP. You’ll get yourself banned, you can make 5k in a day or two, if you’re not very good at making money, just farm stuff for a few weeks.

Also the majority of the gold sites are legit, if you decide to buy gold, go with susanexpress or igxe.com. NEVER download anything or give out your acct info, anyone who says you’ll get a virus/get hacked is just a computer illiterate moron who is dumb enough to download something or give them acct info. You should see if you have a friend who could loan or give you the gold. Dont buy it. You could get in to some trouble.

If you have a real life friend who plays WOW with you and can loan you money, you could always agree to pay him/her back with 10% added.

Borrow from a friend, dont buy. collarncuffsboy
