Try to get a lot of : Green items, Blue items, Epic items that are not soulbound and sell it on Auction house or just kill alot of monsters to get copper/silver/gold and some bits or herb stuff, Mine stuff or even skin stuff.

The fastest way is to do dailies at level 70. with a little practice you can make over 100g in less than an hour. plus rep with the shattered sun offense which equals cool rewards (although with WOTLK) they are kind of useless X D

Farming is all about your professions…if you mine, then you sell ore, if you are an Alchemist then you sell your potions on the Auction House. Good Luck!

Get two gathering professions. Mining and skinning seem to get good money…or, mining and herbalism.
Shoot, I make over 500G per day just doing dailies and collectng meat, leather, and drop items. I have been making alot more money now, since I have raised my cooking skill over 400 and can make some great raid/instance food. These foods will allow you to gain stamina, haste, attack power, mana, etc…along with raising stamina.
So…get 2 gathering professions. Level cooking, first aid, and fishing for added money, and visit AH to sell all unwanted items you come across.
