There will be a small markup over the current quoted price, but first you should deal with someone that quotes the current price.
I’ve been dealing with Apmex.com for years without any problems.

Too much.
Investing in gold…. Use the ETF “GLD”. It’ll cost you the price of a stock trade ($1-$15) with an on-line broker. For a pure gold trade…. nothing else makes sense. Common Sense
