What is the best process for selling a few pieces of gold jewelry?
juliettemoore2000 asked:
I don’t want to walk blindly into a jewelry store that advertises that they buy gold jewelry without having some kind of idea of what to expect. I figure I should go to several and then pick the best price, but I don’t know anything about gold pricing, etc.

Have the jewelry appraised first. Then go to several places with your appraisal in hand. You might also want to consider selling it yourself. Post on Craigslist or other free classifieds, list on ebay or put an add in your local newspaper. snookie_friggin_wookums

you can shop it around to jewelers. if its something you wont wear anymore because its broken or scrap stuff, try selling it to a refiner. can give you an estimate of the prices they pay out Credic J
